Prima uscita stagionale, Foudation Cup!

Il primo impegno stagionale dei Tokodenoka per la stagione 2011/12 è stato la Foundation Cup della neonata Triveneto Touch Rugby tenutosi sabato 1 ottobre presso gli impianti sportivi della Ghirada a Treviso. Si è trattato di un torneo di tipo prettamente didattico nel quale tutti i partecipanti hanno avuto modo di misurarsi con il regolamento internazionale FIT. In ogni caso, la giornata è stata splendida sotto ogni punto di vista. La nostra squadra ha vinto tutti e tre gli incontri mettendo in campo cose buone, in particolare le 5 donne in campo si sono comportate egreggiamente, segno della bontà del lavoro che si sta facendo in questi mesi durante le sessioni di allenamento e della loro passione in questo sport. Decisamente ottimo l'approccio con il regolamento Fit, grazie soprattutto agli arbitri TRI che sono intervenuti e che hanno diretto le gare e spiegato nel dettaglio il sistema di gioco, ai quali ci sentiamo in dovere di rivolgere un caloroso "grazie!".
Al termine del torneo, e dell'immancabile Terzo Tempo, tutta la comitiva si è riversata allo stadio Monigo dove ha potuto assistere ad un emozionante Benetton vs Scarlets, vinta dai travigiani anche grazie a una prova assolutamente superlativa di Brendan Williams.


The first task for the Tokodenoka Team of the 2011/12 season, was the Foundation Cup, organized by the newly Triveneto Touch Rugby on Saturday first October at the sports complex of Ghirada in Treviso. It was kind of a purely educational tournament in which all participants were able to compete with the international regulations FIT. In any case, the day was beautiful from every point of view. Our team has won all three matches, fielding good things; especially the 5 women in the field have performed very well, it is a sign of the good work being done in these months during the training sessions and their passion for this sport. Definitely, good approach with the Fit Regulation, thanks to the TRI's referees who took part and that has conducted the competitions and explained in detail the system of play, which we feel obliged to extend them a warm "thank you".

At the end of the tournament, the whole group went  to the Monigo stadium where we could watch a thrilling Scarlets vs Benetton, won by Benetton thanks to a superlative match of Brendan Williams.
